Excessive compressor exhaust temperature is a common problem during operation of air conditioning systems. This problem may trigger a series of chain reactions, interfering with the normal operation of the air conditioner, and even causing equipment damage. Several common causes of excessive compressor exhaust temperature are as follows.
1. Check whether there are leakages in the connecting pipeline interfaces and other components of the air-conditioning and refrigeration system. Leakage may lead to insufficient refrigerant, which in turn reduces the compressor return air volume, increases exhaust temperature and triggers the overheating protection mechanism. The leakage point of the refrigeration system must be carefully searched.
2. Check whether there is refrigerant leakage or air intake in the refrigeration system. Components such as compressors, indoor unit evaporators, connecting pipelines and outdoor mechanism cooling system pipe groups are required to comprehensively check, and necessary nitrogen blowing is carried out to replace components such as supercooling pipe groups or compressors. Finally, use a vacuum pump to evacuate and fill the refrigerant regularly to ensure proper system operation.
3. If the connecting pipe is seriously bent or sunken, it will hinder the flow of refrigerant, affect the refrigeration effect, and cause the compressor exhaust temperature to rise. The appearance of the connecting pipe should be carefully checked for obvious deformation or damage. For extended pipelines, it is necessary to check whether their connections are tight and whether there is leakage in the welding area. If problems are found, the pipeline should be repaired or replaced in time
4. Check whether the valve needle of the electronic expansion valve is in an unopened state, which may lead to poor return of the compressor and the inability to cool the compressor normally, which will cause overheating protection failure. It is necessary to determine whether the electronic expansion valve or outdoor computer board control has malfunction and replace it accordingly.
5. The heat dissipation effect of outdoor units is closely related to the outdoor air circulation status. Therefore, an outdoor unit should be installed in a well-ventilated position. If the outdoor unit is incorrectly located, it will lead to poor heat dissipation. In addition, dust accumulation on the surface of the condenser fins will also cause an increase in the exhaust temperature.
